Tracy Ivie has more than 20 years experience writing for magazines, books and newspapers.

Magazines
She has recently been named editor of New Jersey Savvy Living magazine, where she writes articles and supervises freelance writers and production.  Her other magazine credits include Working Woman, Popular Photography and Video, where she was a contributing editor. She also worked for four years as associate editor of an award-winning stockholder magazine in the insurance and computer leasing field.

Newspapers
She worked for seven years at the Hunterdon County Democrat newspaper, where she served as the arts, education, and county government editor. Tracy was also editor of the Hunterdon Observer and won several awards from the New Jersey Press Association.

Books
Tracy is co-author in the book series, "Country Inns of America," published by Holt, Rinehart and Winston and Architectural Digest. She also ghostwrote a 100-page resume preparation guide for Tom Jackson, author of "Guerrilla Tactics in the Job Market."

As a copywriter for a guidebook series, she wrote histories of more than 150 New Jersey towns. She is currently working on two books: one on insomnia and the other (an e-book) on credit cards and the Internet.

1st place, New Jersey Press Association for article on libraries and the Internet

1st, 2nd and 3rd places, New Jersey Press Association as editor of a weekly news/feature page by high school students.

Gold JASPER (Jersey Shore Public Relations & Advertising Association) and Silver ASTRA (New Jersey Communications Advertising & Marketing Association), Excellence in Writing for an article she ghostwrote on marketing to baby boomers.
